Kanaha Beach is a vital ocean access point for, families, picnics, swimmers, fishermen, recreational sports, and professional water athletes. Everybody needs access to good parking that is safe and convenient. We need parking access close to the shoreline so that people can load and unload, sports equipment, fish/dive gear, beach chairs, coolers, and strollers etc. Beach users also need to have close access to their vehicles for security of valuables, access to phones etc and convenience. Parking along the street is inconvenient and unsafe for people and property. Please do not take away the existing parking that is essential for the community’s enjoyment of the beach and ocean.
