North Shore Ocean Access Chain:
Ocean access points along Maui’s north shore form part of a chain. Each access point is important to of a matrix, that provides safe ingress/egress, as well as safe alternate “extraction or launching points, depending on changing weather conditions. Also the “chain” is necessary for emergency access in case of medical emergency or equipment failure. The main points on this ocean access chain are as follows:
