Kanaha Beach is a vital ocean access point for the Maui Community. It provides many unique areas and supports the many user groups that access the beach and ocean. The Kanaha Beach is also part of a larger network of ocean access points that support the utilization of ocean resources on the entire north shore of Maui. Kanaha is an important link in a chain of beaches, bays, and access ways that are integral to traditional, modern and recreational uses of the near shore waters.
